The Mindfulness Monthly Meeting is an opportunity to come together in a group to practice meditation and share; it's meant for those who have already taken the 8-week course as a chance to reconnect and practice in a group and for those who are interested in learning more about mindfulness meditation and are considering taking the 8-week course. Through a combination of body postures and controlled breathing exercises, yoga is a tool for maintaining health and can also support the healing process. A regular yoga practice can: ease muscle tension, improve circulation, improve concentration and memory, increase flexibility and balance, ease chronic pain and anxiety, tone and strengthen the body, and support proper functioning of all body systems.

Event Summary
If you are a caregiver, please take some time for yourself! You need support too!
A general caregiver support group facilitated by Patty Liebman, LCSW, OSW-C, Certified Oncology Counselor. This group is open to loved ones directly involved in the care of a cancer patient (family members, spouses/partners, friends), and was developed to support the unique needs common to cancer caregivers.
